Due to the prevalence of social media, the killings in Pike County Ohio have taken many twists and turns. Much of this has been driven by the internet.
Through this, many unique, interesting reports and perspectives have been offered on the slayings. In the beginning, it appeared that a honest, down-to-earth family that wouldn’t hurt anybody had been the victim of some senseless mass murder. However as time goes on, a more sinister plot is devleoping that puts a family in this sleepy part of southern Ohio in the middle of a international drug ring.
Just a few days ago, the Ohio Attorney General confirmed that pot plants were found on the property during the investigation period. Now just hours ago the Ohio state AG also confirmed that a illegal animal fighting ring was also run on the property.
In the midst of this, another story unfolded on Facebook, one that was very quickly deleted due to immediate threats started to be issued.
On April the 10th, a group of kids (As claimed) were joyriding on Union Road outside of Piketon Ohio. What unfolded was a scenario that makes one question further just what was going on.
The short of the story is this : While joyriding on Union Road, a group of teenagers was stopped by a unnamed group of armed individuals. The kids were then told to turn around and leave the property. The un-named group (And based on the very few houses on Union Road, it is extremely likely it was the family or someone connected to those murdered). The family that showed up was armed with baseball bats, firearms, and other weapons. They even tried to pull the joyrriding occupants from the car, however the car was able to drive away.
Once home, the individual who drove the car took to facebook to talk about his experience and to brag about forming a posse to go ‘take care of them.
Now, we are not accusing this individual, who has now gone into hiding due to his name being pasted thousands of times on social media. The question is why were groups of people making armed patrols on Union Road in Piketon county?
All records have been deleted on Facebook, except for the very limited screenshots we were able to take. Mostly responses mentioning the events as originally posted.

Neighbors talk about how it wasn’t the first time someone was stopped at gunpoint on Union Hill road.

The driver of the car’s mom took to facebook after the son was accused of killing the family via social media.
Now, having said all of this, we are not accusing the individual, his friends, or family of being a part of a murder plot against those slain. HOWEVER the fact remains that it’s very likely that the family on Union Hill road was EXPECTING A POTENTIAL ATTACK as they were patrolling their road with firearms and other weapons, and showed a willingness to stop people who were unknown to them.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine also confirmed that there was a very recent threat made against Chris Rhoden JR. And from what we can tell, the screenshots are from the original threat, and have nothing to do with the murders, yet provide valuable insight into what happened.
