
Members of the Slovak Mobile Division scan the skies for enemy aircraft. Though quite small the division was highly praised by German high command for their performance on the Eastern Front.

Soviet soldiers aim their Thompson submachine guns, M2 Brownings machine gun and M3 Stuart tanks at the skies. All of these weapons were provided by the Americans through lend-lease. This picture is often suspected to have been posed for propaganda based on how pristine all the equipment and soldiers look.

Hungarian soldiers take aim with a Solothurn anti tank rifle. Hungary was probably Hitler’s greatest ally and asset in the war against the Soviet Union.
